AND ITS SHOWTIME!!!!!

February 22, 2020

The story line of course, is Gary "Showtime" Myers getting his first win as a goalie. He would launch Final Touch out of the cellar....oh, no, nevermind, but Yes Final Touch Won!!!! The first was all Final touch getting up 3-0 with Jay Goyette getting 2 and one and Bill Figuerido would get the other. All helped by each other and Rick Mercuri getting 3 assists. They would get another in the second by Peter Meegan, stretching the lead to 4. Finally Votta would get on the board with Kevin Webster cracking the Show Code. and another, by Ralph "boo" Espilat to cut the lead in half. On to the third where Goyette would complete the hat trick. Scary enough, Votta did not give up and Brandon Bell is on fire, scoring his second goal in as many weeks. Kevin Webster would also score. It would be too little, too late as the clock ticked away on Votta's comeback. Showtime would be jubilant. The Touch would celebrate and all was right in the world.

The world was not right, because Manville Palace Pizza would shake it up and beat your beloved Manny's Hockey Club. Manny's came out swinging with 2 goals. One from daddy Kraig LaBelle, set up by captain Derek Signoriello. In the next shift Derek would get one of his own, with Scott Hawes and Tommy Gaboriault. That is all they would get. That's it, No More! Manville would get there goals started, with Steven Owens taking the long shot and getting it in the pond, set up by Brian Beck and Daniel Dussault. That would end the First. Manville would get the next one from Greg Landry, tying up the game, from Shannon and Bragan. Then of course, Bragan would get the next one, cause he was jealous. This would prove to be the game  winner. Also set up by Dan Dussault. Late in the second, Landry would score again from Shannon. Late late late in the third, Brian Beck would put the dagger in the game, probably got it out of Mike Dussaults back. (Get well soon Junior).  So yeah, Manville is squarely in first. with 5 unanswered goals.

In the second game, Well Well Well. Vescera Law would start the scoring. Dan Clare would get it going late in the first with help from Paul Praderio. In The Second Vescera would get another one and another rounding out with Scott Reilly getting the nod and the game winner. And then Shane McCormick would finally crack the egg. Late in the third, Steven Albertelli would get one more, but not enough. Vescera Law would take the win.

In any case, yeah that sucked. You know Manville beating Manny's and all. But show was happy.

Hope everyone has a great week.
