In previous episodes, Manny's was on the edge of losing, Manville did not come out of the gate well and MSCCC had the night off.

In this episode, Manny's makes a gigantic statement and wins 6-1 thanks to Mark Ferreira's Hat trick and stellar goal tending. The story of the game was the break out and the work of Jay Cinq-Mars on the blue line. Anthony Lisi would have 2 goals and an assist and Kelley Hoover would have a goal and 2 assists to round out the scoring for the Gold an Black. For Vescera Ricky Votta would score the lone goal.

Marc Clarkin, the newest goal tender in the Friday night experience, would thwart all attempts to score by Roman Law. Clarkin would play in his second game letting up only 1 goal in 6 periods and that was in his previous game. In this one, he would be perfect. For MSCCC Gary Ouilette would pick up the Hat Trick and in an unfamiliar way, playing forward. Eric Campbell would pick up a goal and 3 assists as well. completing the 6-0 win over Roman Law.

In the final game Manville Pizza showed who the really are! They are who we thought they were! Frank Notorianni would blow this thing up with 4 goals and an assist. Scott Hawes would chip in with a goal and 2 assists and Jody Pachomski would add 2 goals and assist to complete the 9-5 win. In the first minute of this game, there were 3 shots and 3 goals. 2 by Manville and 1 by 401. Leaving the first 401 Consulting would be up 3-2. At the end of the second the score would still be tight 5-4 favoring Manville. It would be Pizza that would spread the lead and Notorianni driving the bus.

The Ahab report has been suspended temporarily as the good Captain has gone back to his whaling roots and is playing a tournament in the Cape. His article will be back next week. Enjoy.

With the season just 3 games in, this week was an anomaly, with 3 big wins, or losses depending on which side of the ice you are on. The teams are a lot closer in skill and talent than last night.

While in the middle game, 401 Consultants will be searching for that elusive win, but Vescera will see if they can keep that from happening. Manny's will be testing Manville Pizza. Manny's can stay in the top of the standings with a win.
