Edge Doctor went up against Manville Pizza. This was an Epic Battle. Both teams were screaming up and down the ice together. Both goalies were keeping the teams from getting an advantage. That said, Gerry Fahey, called up off waivers finally cracked the egg. A back hander that stymied the brilliant goal tending of Shannon Murphy. In the second, Nick Nardone with a bar down cannon, made it 2-0 Edge Doctor. With the goalie pulled, Nick would get the Empty netter. And then Dan Dussault would ruin Jay Pires perfect outing with a late late goal. 3-1 Edge Doctor.

In game 2 Final Touch and Votta Properties faced each other. Votta Properties was on the board early. 2 shifts later Final Touch's captain Shannon Cavelry put the puck in the net. Ralph Espailatt and Aimee Accinno set up the goal. Final would make it 2 - 0 with Bob Watts getting one passed the tenda. On to the second big sexy Ricky Votta would tie the game. Ricky would extend the lead making it 3-2. Final Touch would tie it up midway through with Steve Albertelli helping out. A minute later, Votta Properties very own Sammy Woodward would get the "spoiler" game winning goal. Votta would get one more with Ray Iannuccelli putting the puck in the net. Votta Properties would go on to beat the number one team 5-3.

Vescera Law or a simulation with 6 subs would play Green Goddess. Goddess would get 4 goals in the first to set the tone. Doc Manzo, Ed Cordoso and Eric Rondeau all getting goals. Did they score too early ? Maybe or not. Well Ben Hevner would get back one. 3 more in the third, it would not be enough as Mike Thomas would put the explanation point on this one. Green Goddess would go onto win 5-4.
