Its Almost Turkey Day. But Not yet !

November 13, 2021

Oh man oh man oh man. Quick Dam cannot catch a break. It looked pretty good for awhile. Unfortunately, it went down hill fast. In the first period, Quick Dam got on the board first. Nick Nordone filling in for the evening, flexed his muscles and scored with the help of Ed Cordoso. Our favorite lady Shannon Caverly was not phased and set up the next goal for Pilot who was subbing in on her line. And then it was Rich LaPlante sneaky sneaky good goal. The back hand that went 6 inches was all he needed to get the touch up by two. Late in the period, Quick Dam came back, a long shot by Eric Campbell. Unfortunately that would be their last, a trip in front of the net, a penalty shot for Burkle, for the win. Final touch would score two more in the third to clasp down the win, Dan Clare and then Tim Pincince with the Empty Net. Final Touch done good. 5-2

Game Dos. Por Favor

Votta Properties takes on Edge Doctor. Fast paced and action packed in this one. Mike Dussault and Frank Zabatta battling across the pond from each other is the story here. Both Put on a clinic. One, made the extra save. In the first Votta jumped out to a 2-0 lead, albeit late in the period and close in time. The First was Mike Bragan from Mark Kosinski. The next just a minute 20 later, Kosinski would polish off the period. Nothing doing in the second, as they skated to a 0-0 tie. However, there was great commentary in the warm room. The networks ratings would go up hiring this crew. The look on Adam Babikians face when staring at his dad for approval, we are guessing meant "Why don't you love me dad"!!! But I digress. Brian McDonald would get the Edge on the board early in the third, from Derek Franco. Votta would match it with an answer from White Gloves Kosinski, which would later prove to be the game winner. He was set up by BRIAN CORMIER (see Brian, I mentioned you. ) and Bragan. Try as the might to get over on Votta, Edge could only manage one more goal. It would be Kreg Labelle from Derek Franco and Sean Coffey. Votta would win 3-2.

The late game that no one wanted. Except Bill Vescera. Yep, just a few seconds into the Vescera Law Vs. Green Goddess game, Bill Vescera popped in the seed to grow the win. Bill had the best celly as he was exuberant and so was everyone else. He was set up for the early goal by Kevin Schleicher and Doc Holiday (Manzo) he will be your huckleberry. Mike Baro had to leave the game and Mike Dussault would fill in for the ailing Baro. Hope he will be ok. Goddess would take advantage of the cold goalie. A goal by Iggy Gozman from Jay Cinq-Mars and Andy Meegan. The jubilation would not last as Vescera would quickly answer. Jay Arruda would come from the blue line and pop one in, set up by Manzo and Schlecher. Goddess would tie it up with a goal by Jimmy Meegan. Vasconcelos set him up along with Gary Ouillette. Back and froth we go as Goddess would take the lead with Brian Pendergast getting on the board, with Andy Morrison and his white privilege helping as well as Gozman. And another tie would happen again. It would be Vescera getting on the board again with Paul Praderio getting the goal from Schleicher and Bill Vescera with the feeds. And then another quickly by the Law, as Shane McCormick would get the breakaway. Late in the period it would be tied again. Gary Ouilette would get on the board with help from Jimmy Meegan on the low to high pass. And then Vescera would beat them up in the third with a goal by Richie Dias and his Knee to the back of my head to get down and score and make me late to the play. And I had to chase Jay Arruda around. That is the way I saw it and yes it is all about me cause I am writing this shit and now it is a run on sentence that has gone on way to long. (Deep Breathe) So, yeah, Vescera wins 6-4.

Hope you all have a great week.
