You couldn't ask or wish for a better end to a great season. 

Roman Law would ride out the playoffs with a shootout win. Tommy Martins and Jay Pires stood strong as the opposing goal keepers.  Tim Sheehan from Shawn Smith would get the red out in front in the second. Manny's would be undaunted and even the score a few shifts later with Anthony Lisi getting it tied from Scott Reilly and Brian Pendergast. The third would be back and forth with opportunities on both ends of the ice. On to the OT period and much of the same, two teams gutting it out through the final horn. Manny's Captain took the first of the shootout tries and buried his chance. 4 shooters later and Andy Morrison would even the tally. It would be the 7th shooter to win the game. Roman Law's Andy Meegan, sauntered down the ice and lulled the puck to the stick side, popping in the exclamation point for the season. 

This would be a well deserved win for Captain Shawn Smith and his first of many championships as a captain. 

Congratulations Roman Law for a great win and great season. Manny's has nothing to hang their heads over. In three games they let up 2 goals. In the end, it was just a matter of one of the two great teams had to win.
