STILL FEELS LIKE SUMMAH!!!

September 19, 2015

The Winter seasons second game and Manville Pizza in front of Mark Shiavone are
continuing their domination over the league and the year. The Pizza would start
out with a late goal in the first, set up by Dan Dussault and Frank Notorianni.
Early in the second they would score again, using last year’s leading goal
scorer Jody Pachomski. Manny's would hold it tight for most of the game, but
with 40 seconds left and the net empty, Pachomski would put the nail in the
coffin of the Hockey Shop and send them home with a shutout, predicted by the
Show.

In the second game, Final Touch would have to go to the shelf and pull in a goalie
for the LAME Michael "Junior" Dussault. Final Touch would do it for
Junior. The Touch would look like they are in the driver’s seat with goals by
Tommy Gaboriault, set up by Capt Ahab and Sean Forrant. Then Forrant would grab
a goal set up by Meegan and Tommy G. That line looks like it is clicking. Late
and in the third, Anthony Lisi would put his stamp on the season, set up nicely
by Brian Pendergast and Jimmy Meegan. A 3 goal first unanswered by MSCCC. Early
in the second, Jimmy Meegan would put it home from Pendergast and it was a
rout. MSCCC was not going down that easy. Three goals in the second to mount a
comeback. Captain Gary Ouilette would score and get an assist along with Peter
Sanchione scoring and getting assist. Barry Horton would get an assist from the
point on Ouilette's goal. Even with scratching and clawing back, MSCCC would
come up short. Final Touch would get a much needed win.

The team out of the gate on paper and on the ice might showed why the hype was
valid this week. Vescera put together a winning team and they showed it this
week. With 2 Goals in the first early on they looked dominant. Roman Law would
fight back with their newly ordained Captain, Sean Smith, Leading the charge
with a goal and an assist. However the Captain, Bill Vescera, would get the
game winner for his club and never look back.

This week is in the rearview. Next week, Manville Pizza cannot continue their
winning streak. They have the bye.

Match up of the week looks like Vescera facing MSCCC in the first game. Billy Vescera
and his squad versus Gary Ouilette and the Mechanics.
