The Ahab Report

In the early game, Vescera Law got past Votta Properties 4-1, putting The Law into a tie with Green Goddess Supply for second place overall and only Two points from First Place.  Mike Baro played shutdown goal tending for The Law, while Gary Ouillette stayed hot for Votta, getting the only puck past Baro.

In the late game, Manny's whipped Manville Pizza 7-4.  Very recent new Dad, Mike Strayer scored a natural hat trick and His Team's final Three goals, leading His team to victory.  Congrats to The Strayer Family!

In the featured game of the night, The Green Goddess bent over Final Touch in a route, but it took a late goal by Ralph Espillat set up by Richie Dias and Mark Ferriera to actually get a 3-2 win, and this was all because of the outstanding goal tending by Dan Albertelli.  First Place Final Touch proved to be weak competition for The Goddess with Their lightning speed.  The new look upstart team kept the losers trapped in Their zone the entire night, and for all who witnessed this game, it was an old fashion ass pounding.  Besides Albertelli in net, the only other bright spot for The Touch was Dan's Son, Stephen Albertelli, who scored both goals.  For The Green Goddess, though, it was all positive, with both Goddess's lines looking like the old Russian Red Army Team.  Mike Thomas, Jim Meegan and Shannon Caverly combined for the other Two goals for "Captain of the year candidate", Eric Robichaud's Team. Watch out for this team, They are now the odds on favorite to win it all.  After the game Captain Ahab had little to say except, "They made us look like the oldest team in The League.  Obviously, Our Team was Dazed and Confused."
