The last Friday night of the winter season was the first game of the playoffs

Roman Law took care of business early and often, scoring 8 goals and only giving up 2 in the early going. Ralph Espilat got 2 and 2 in this one to secure the win over Vescera Law

Manville Palace Pizza also was a big winner in game 2 with an 8-1 victory. Chris Bolton had 4 points 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the charge.

In the final battle and it was a battle, Manny's and MSCCC skated to a 0-0 tie through near two periods. And when I say near, I mean close as small white piece of cotton at a wet tee shirt contest. Craig Pizzo would pop home the goal with the clock about to hit 0:0 cleaning up the change from Mike Thomas' snipe. This game went back and forth the entire time. In the end, another goal by Gary Showtime Myers, fed from Gary Ouillette to finish this one off.
