North Smithfield- The night belonged to Dussaults. Mike Dussault, known as Junior, Goalie and other aka's, played all three games in goal and was spectacular even though, reports after the games, say Dussault was playing with an undisclosed lower body injury. This reporter did some digging and found out it was a hip and knee. He was struggling in net, but pushed through. 

In the first game it was brother Dan Dussault capturing the news with a goal and 2 assists, leading Manville Pizza to a 8-4 victory over Mineral Spring Car Care Center. MSCCC spread the wealth with 4 goals by 4 different players. Manville is currently on a 5 game winning streak and just 2 points behind Roman for the top of the standings. 

In the middle stanza, Junior was in his best form, letting up only one from Final Touch, even with the power house offense. It was Steve Sullivan leading Manny's Hockey Shop, with a hat trick. Joe Martin and Shannon Calvary each got 4 assists. Martin ended up with a goal as well. 

In the final match up, the juggernauts that are Roman Law finally met their match against 401 Consultants. The Consultants have snake bites all over them over the first stretch of the season, finally breaking the winning column egg. Eric Robichaud would get the game winner for his squad, with the squirrel himself, Eric Campbell notching the other 2 goals. 

If you do not think hockey players are special, you need only know, after the game, several players played Kan Jam in the parking lot in the frigid cold temps. When I say special, I mean it in the most endearing way.
