Do you know the way to San Jose? Im going back to get some peice of mind.
Still morning and here we are waiting for the proverbial news to come to the front door. Well here I am! Hello to my loyal fans. You know who you are! BTW Wicked Rhode is at Stevie D's In East Providence tonight. Starting around 8ish. Ralph? you coming Boo! How was the run this morning?
Game 1 Quick Dam and Manville Pizza went at in the, ever so popular, early game. In the early goings, Manville Pizza put the puck in the net first. It would Jay Cinq-Mars getting the early lead. The lead would not last, as Quick Dam would make quick work around the defense. Bob Watts from Shawn Smith and Derek Franco. (green pants), erasing Manville's lead. In the early goings of the second, Quick Dam would take the lead. John Moriarty in his debut for the orange would set this one up. Middle of the second, Manville would tie it up, from Adam Babikian and Dan Dussault. On to the third. And it would be all Quick Dam all the time. John Moriarty would get the GWG, followed by Shawn Smith and Mike Bragan. And that would do it. Quick Dam would prevail 5-2.
In the second game, Votta Properties and Vescera Law would take the ice against each other. This one went back and forth, starting with Votta Properties and ending with Vescera in the first. Richie Dias would start this one off, with a heck of a goal. He stole it off the boards put it up under the eave of the goal. Followed up by Eric Campbell set up by Big Handsome Ricky Votta. And then The Vescera Family would take over. Will Vescera would take the puck from the defensive end, dancing his way to the goal. Seconds later, daddy Bill Vescera would get one of his own. Making this the only time 2 goals were scored within 30 seconds of each other by a son and father combination. in the word of Cotton McKnight: Ladies and gentlemen, I have been to the Great Wall of China, I have seen the Pyramids of Egypt, I've even witnessed a grown man satisfy a camel. But never in all my years as a sportscaster have I witnessed something as improbable, as impossible, as what we've witnessed here today! Votta would plow ahead and grab a couple back to grab the 2 point lead with Steve Lombardi getting one. Will Vescera would take over and tie it up again with Kevin Webster and Jay Arruda on the helpers. In the Second Will would get the lone goal by himself. Late in the third it looked like Vescera had this wrapped up, until Richie Dias would prevail to tie it up once again. Greg Landry would pull out another goal with less than a minute left in the game, taking the lead. The improbable happened as Votta would score with 28 seconds left to tie it once again. Gary Ouillette would honor his sons birthday with the tying and final goal of the game. 6-6. Heck of a game Happy Birthday Aidan!! You missed it we played Kan Jam!
And finally, Final Touch and Green Goddess would take the ice. Lets make this quick. Goddess got on top first with a goal by Andy Morrison from Larry Lefebvre and Kevin Schleicher, the two players with difficult last names to both spell and pronounce. Just 16 seconds later, Final Touch's Evin Huguenin would do what Final Touch seems to have difficulty doing, he put the puck in the net. He was set up by Aimee Accinno. Midway through the second, Larry would get the game winner for Green Goddess. Set up by Andy Morrison. Yep, 2-1 Green Goddess. Fuck.
It looks like there are some games Sunday Night. I hope your captains have let you know this. Otherwise, it will be a shit show.
