A shocker and 2 heart breakers.

In the first game, it was the upset of the night. MSCCC shocks the hockey world with an 36 minutes of pure effort. The real nail in the coffin was the 2 goals called back on Roman Law. It was quite the controversy with 2 quick whistles. The killer was the game winning goal by Mike Strayer taking it coast to coast and tucking in the goal. Roman Law had been teetering on the crest of number 1 all season. MSCCC was in the cellar all season. This is the epitome of Friday Night Hockey and why its so popular, anyone has a chance.

The Emperor, Mike Dussault, was in post season form, as he stonewalled 401 Consulting. The most prolific goal scorer for 401 with 34 goals leading the league, Brian Beck, was swarmed upon every moment he had the puck. Final Touch made some changes in the line up, putting Jimmy Meegan back on the blue line. Dussault gave credit to the younger Meegan saying he was solid in the Defensive role. The middle Meegan and the Captain, Peter, was reported to have his best game all season. They will be facing the winner of the last game tonight.

Manny's Hockey Shop was snake bit by Mike Baro, Goalie for Vescera Law, who stole the game away from Manny's. The first period would have a screened Danny Albertelli giving up the first goal to a snipe by Ricky Votta. Manny's quickly evened the score with a redirected shot that left Baro with no chance. In the second a miss communication and a terrible line change would prove to be poison that would slowly kill Manny's season. A heads up play by Rob Edleman and an empty netter would seal the deal for Vescera to get a ticket to tomorrows dance.

And so hockey fans, MSCCC faces the legendary Manville Pizza Palace. Pizza is looking for a repeat of the summer season. MSCCC is hoping to be the spoiler once again.

Vescera will face the mighty Final Touch. Final touch will be without there goal tender Mike 'Junior" Dussault. This is a big loss as Dussault blanked his last opponent and is in playoff form. Dussault could not be reached for comment.
