Summer Hockey Guide

April 17, 2017

Guide to this Summers NRIAHL teams:

Green Goddess: Captain Eric Robichaud. Eric has learned from
his mistakes in the draft. This summer will prove it to his detractors. The
Goddess welcomes a new Goalie to the league. They also welcome the “ghost of
pizza past” with Keith coming over to the Green side. This team looks sharp and
well rounded.

Manny’s Hockey Shop: Captain Derek Signoriello. This team
was last summers’ champs and look to try to get back there with some strong
defense and new comer Jim Galvin joining the league. They should get the twine
to bend with some power up front as well.

Roman Law: Captain Shaun Smith. Smith has cemented himself
as a quality captain. Season after season, his drafts propel him to the top of
the heap of prognosticators. Again, he has produced a well rounded team with
strong D and goal scorers up front.

Manville Pizza : Captain Dan Dussault. Another captain who season
after season picks a quality bench. Pizza returns with the core. However, they
are missing number 11. Unfortunately, times change and so do rosters. This team
looks strong from the goaltending forward.

Vescera Law: Captain Bill Vescera. Looking to come off a
string of lackluster seasons, Vescera built his team with strong defense and
goaltending. They also got one of the premier goal scorers in the league with
Shane McShane-Shane.

Votta Properties: Captain Gary Ouilette. Gary has claims of
stepping down from his captains’ post after the summer season. He built this
team to win for his swan song season. The team has some sharp new sweaters and
will be looking to flaunt them at the picture ceremony.

Final Touch: Captain, Peter Meegan: Final Touch is coming
off the long winter season as champs. Meegan retained much of the core of that
team, including his Goaltender Dan. Also retaining the sub fill in at the end
of the season, Bergy. The Touch hope to get back to the finals and repeat.

Lest we forget, Summer means KAN JAM and cookouts. We need
to keep the lines of communication open to get the work out when we are having
a cook out. Captains, keep each other and your teams informed as we plan something.

 Kan Jam is impromptu.
