Welcome to Sub Night. Can I take your order?

July 8, 2023

Hello all. I hope you folks are doing well in the great white north. Good Morning to my fans, Aimee, Frank, Steve O. Adam and Boo.

I understand the Goats are doing well. Winning game one 7-1. Good luck for the rest of the tournament.

As far as hockey goes in the normal Friday night. We have a down trodden Mike Dussault in net. Mike's back effed and still had to be a trooper for his team. He called 27 goalies and none could do it. How many dicks is that? A lot. Here are the Highlights, Edge Doctor had the usual suspects getting on the board. Mark Kosinski from Kreg Labelle. Kreg from Mark, Kreg from Mark and of course Mark. That said, highlight real goal by Kreg Labelle. Got to the front of the net, stretched the goalie Zach out and went to his belly and still got off the back hander. No give up in Kreg for Edge Doctor. Votta's hero was Bobby Gravel getting a couple. In the end, Votta would pull ahead 6 - 5 finishing it early in the third. Votta wins.

In game 2, yours truly played forward. As expected, meh. Great game had by both goalies Mark Schiavone for Quick Dam and Shannon Murphy for Green Goddess. Some real highlight reels here as well. Schiavone had a sick save on Andy Morrisons break away late. Murphy, not to be outdone, stopped a barrage of shots at the end of the game with the net emptied. In the first, Green Goddess got on the board with Larry Lefebvre's shot on the back door. Think it was a slapper, but he is a ref, so he can get away with it. In the Second another ref late whistle allowed Larry to chop wood in front of the net, getting the second goal. Quick Dam ended up on the board with Mike Thomas filling in and getting a break away early in the third. Andy Morrison would erase that goal with one of his own a minute later. Sammy Woodward would fall in front of the net for Quick Dam and distract Green Goddess. We will call this the Possum goal, as Mike scored again. And as I said, empty net and Murphy stopping everything. Green Goddess held on to the win 3-2.

In the final game. Not much I can say about this. I was in the locker room. Plus sub Zero got the brunt of the goals. Also, Sub 11 got the first one all for Vescera. On the Manville Pizza side, Keith Kraunelis got the lone goal. Vescera went on to win 4-1.

Hope everyone has a great week. See you all at the rink. Good luck again to the tournament players.
