Here we go, Roman Law was the team that stole Christmas from Votta Properties. Shawn Smith and Peter Meegan were the culprits, each getting a hat trick. By right I could list every goal in and assist and when they happened, but I have tendinitis and that would take forever. Suffice it to say, Roman was losing 7 to 5 going into the third. Apparently 7 goals is not enough to win. As Roman put a hurt on in the third, scoring 4-1 and winning outright 9-8.

In the second game, Manville Palace Pizza shocked Vescera Law with Dave "Ole" McDonald, keeping the coal out of the fire. No coal for Mac as he must have been a good boy this year. With most of MPP at the talking heads tribute in Pawtucket, Larry Lefevbre would captain the ship to a 3-2 nail biter. Dan Clare and Sean Forrant would get the scoring done. Forrant with the game winner. Glen Marshall filled in for Robbiecakes and scored both the goals for Vescera. Manville wins its third of the year.

In the late game, visions of sugar plums danced in Final Touch's heads. Yeah, these references will be sprinkled in until Christmas, make peace with it. And so, this one went back and forth. The first period would be Final Touch scoring on the opening shift. Kenny Beck would ring the bell. Mike Bragan would also put one in the middle of the period. Finally The Green Goddess would get a present from SANTI oh no Shane McCormick. Neil Foley would answer with a goal himself from Bragan and Richie Dias. Green Goddess would get the next one from Chris Bach, with Brian Pendergast. What a game. In the second the Goddess would tie up the game in the middle of the period. And again, Final Touch would get ahead again from Bragan. On to the third and the Goddess would get the equalizer from McCormick. It wouldn't hold as Final Touch would make it an early Christmas with Kevin Webster scoring. This would be all they would need as Final Touch would hold on and beat Green Goddess 5-4.
